About Steven Schultz

Hello, I am Steven Schultz. I have lived in the Valley of the Sun for over 15 years. I am an ASU graduate with two Bachelors of Science; Business Administrations and Multimedia Writing and Technical Communications.

I have always been fascinated with imagery, colors, and motion. Growing up, I always wanted to be in a creative environment. In high school I was introduced to the world of Adobe products and ever since then I have been a super Adobe supporter.

I started out with Adobe Premiere before there was any Pro or CS. Now, years later, I am still trying to master the programs, as they seem endless on the possibilities.

I bring years of experience of a non-traditional technical background and unique education to the game. I have a very strong technical background backed with a degree in Multimedia Writing and Technical Communications.

In addition, I am a very creative designer, having worked in graphic design and video editing for over ten years has really strengthened my foundation in the multimedia field.
Besides having a technical degree and background, I have a very strong business sense instilled by my father. I have owned and operated a variety of small businesses since I was eleven. It was only natural for me to get a business administrations degree. So, while at East ASU Polytechnic Campus, I worked on the Multimedia Writing and Technical Communications program as well as a Business Administrations degree. Both degrees really focused on business: one from a technical side and the other from a strategy standpoint. I learned to write concise and to the point in both a technical manner and a creative point of view. I really thrive on simplifying complex information into usable content. I have used my education combined with new technology to create compelling promotional and instructional videos for both online and packaged products.
I have a strong passion to drive digital marketing. I have marketed niche products over the pass decade. I produced a DVD for children that was marketed and sold at major retail outlets such as Target and other party stores. I have conducted business with the world’s largest companies and understand what it takes to make a product for the masses.
Over the pass four years I have taken my digital marketing skills to new heights while at Clear Channel Media and Entertainment as a Web Designer and Content Editor. On a daily bases, I have maintained 9-radio station Web sites, 3 morning show micro sites, and 3 subsidiary sites. I also provided sales support in creative Web elements and coding. Radio has moved from a tradition medium to a new and powerful digital powerhouse. The days of only listening on the radio are gone. New marketing must consist of multiple avenues to reach a world that is always on the go and mobile.
My passion for positive outcomes through new technologies pushes my drive to be on top of the technical communications industries and produce non-traditional more modern medias to communicate in a compelling way. My experience in Web design, video, graphic design and technical editing combined with my business knowledge are what will take your projects to the next level.
